DA propaganda that will shock you!

Mike Hampton Posted on 11th Mar 2019 by mikehampton24th Jan 2021
DA propaganda Dr Martin Young Democratic Alliance

This DA propaganda will make you afraid to be a whistleblower. They dove to extraordinary lengths to discredit me. Having a doctor compile a fake psychiatric diagnosis was the worst. The DA would’ve made the Apartheid Government proud. You’ll understand how my fight for my town became a fight for my survival. ‘Same Shit Different Government’ will be the book series to reveal all. Until the release of the first on April Fool’s Day 2019, I will give you a daily, sour taste. A GANG OF DOCTORS A coordinated propaganda … Read the full article…

Review: Mmusi Maimane’s Past 100 Days in ‘Leadership’

Mike Hampton Posted on 4th Jun 2018 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020
Mmusi-Maimane-FB-100-days-review

Mmusi Maimane’s comments on President Cyril Ramaphosa’s first 100 days in office were out of sync with the DA’s and South Africa’s new political reality. It’s rare to find a charismatic preacher who lacks confidence. Mmusi Maimane doesn’t disappoint the stereotype. The Mail & Guardian article, entitled ‘Ramphosa has been underwhelming’ – Maimane on President’s 100 days’ was hubris. It quotes Maimane as saying that, “Cyril Ramaphosa has been underwhelming, as South Africans have rightfully expected much more from the President. We remain stuck in a jobs crisis, while our … Read the full article…

Fraud: The ‘Psychologist’ & Men With Guns

Mike Hampton Posted on 26th Jul 2017 by mikehampton21st Jan 2021

Herman van Niekerk and Retha van Niekerk – who are they really? Figuring that out made this one of the more interesting and shocking cases of fraud. An anonymous Knysna whistleblower’s family allegedly under siege – computer hacked, electronically threatened with death, and physically stalked. That’s what one of their 4 bodyguards said. Considering the possible danger to them, this writer held back on this story for 9 months, hoping the authorities would step in to deliver justice (instead, they’ve failed in many ways). But with more people contacting me, … Read the full article…

Who are the Band-Aid Bosses of Knysna? (Part 3)

Mike Hampton Posted on 5th Sep 2016 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

This may be considered by readers to be the most interesting in this 4-part, Knysna political update… The second of the three boss posts to be filled was that of Acting Director Finance, or what is more commonly called the CFO (Chief Financial Officer). It’s obviously an important position, emphasised by Knysna’s annual budget jumping to over R900-million. Only 9 months earlier, Pariksha Gobrie had filled the position of CFO. Despite saying at the time that, “My husband and I fell in love with the area,” she took most by … Read the full article…

Is the ACDP’s Schalk van der Merwe a Devil?

Mike Hampton Posted on 30th Jul 2016 by mikehampton7th Jan 2021

Hey, you, Schalk van der Merwe, Knysna candidate for the African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) and owner of Circle Property Developers. Yes, YOU. I could never have started with “Dear Schalk” because you horrify me. I couldn’t use “To Whom It May Concern” because I’ve begun to know what you are. You’re arrogant and hollow, seemingly serving a hidden agenda. How the hell do you read “Christian” in your version of the ACDP? You spit the same nonsense repeatedly on Facebook. You repeatedly refuse to answer questions and substantiate your … Read the full article…

Susan Campbell Responds to Grant Easton

Mike Hampton Posted on 26th Jul 2016 by mikehampton11th Nov 2020

The complainant against Knysna Municipal Manager Grant Easton has identified herself as Susan Campbell. Campbell is well known for her voluntary work in assisting the public by scrutinising municipal tender documents, her goal to ensure that they obey the law. Grant Easton is currently under investigation for alleged tender irregularities and racism. He recently defended himself by releasing a statement to the Knysna-Plett Herald. Campbell intended keeping silent during the investigation but felt it necessary to respond to Easton’s factual inaccuracies. She says that her complaint “relates to the prima … Read the full article…

Parliament asks Public Protector to Probe Democratic Alliance

Mike Hampton Posted on 23rd Jun 2016 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

A Committee of Parliament has responded to my allegations of Democratic Alliance (DA) corruption and maladministration by asking the Public Protector to investigate. The allegations implicate many. From the town of Knysna to Cape Town, it involves municipal officials and politicians, managers and ministers. Ultimately, and especially because she was aware and never acted, responsibility must rest on the doorstep of Premier Helen Zille. MEDIA BIAS I’m Mike Hampton, an independent activist. This is a about power and cover-up. It should have, long ago, been one of the biggest stories … Read the full article…

Draconian Secrecy Bill Passed By Parliament

Mike Hampton Posted on 13th Nov 2013 by mikehampton13th Nov 2013

Yesterday after 5pm the National Assembly adopted the Secrecy Bill, defending its constitutionality for the third time in less than a year. MPs have confirmed R2K’s fears that the President’s return of the Bill on grounds that it was unconstitutional was nothing more than an delaying tactic. When the President referred the Bill back to parliament we were willing to engage with this in good faith, but parliament has turned the process into nothing more than a sham. The campaign to stop the Secrecy Bill now reluctantly turns its back … Read the full article…
