Ramaphosa Has the Power!

Mike Hampton Posted on 23rd Dec 2017 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

Cyril Ramaphosa has the power. That needs to be realised louder than the uselessly negative opinions that have flooded us since his election as ANC president. The past week has been an interesting amalgamation of fear, hope, allegations, lies, tainted victories, hate and hysteria. Being predictable doomsayers will not help South Africans be effectively objective or supportive. A better future requires common sense now. THE COMING LAND GRABS As the ruling party, what the ANC decides as policy has the potential to become law in South Africa. Its recent decisions … Read the full article…

Terrifying Video Footage from Paris Attack

Mike Hampton Posted on 15th Nov 2015 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

What would you do? This video shows graphic footage shot from a window opposite the Bataclan Hall in Paris that was attacked by terrorists late Friday evening. There are people hanging from the windows whilst others escape into the street below them. It’s impossible not to feel unsettled as you realise one escapee is dragging a body. Even the escape route has 2 bodies lying in its doorway. Throughout, the soundtrack is gunfire. We should never shield ourselves from the mess our world is in because it isn’t shielding, it’s … Read the full article…

Are You a Sheep Swallowing the Pill You are Fed?

Mike Hampton Posted on 9th Jan 2015 by mikehampton22nd Jan 2021

ARE YOU A SHEEP? Are you the average person blind to the truth of the two worlds we are living in? Do you swallow the pre-packaged pill and pretend that everything is OK and that the political party you support is the moral one? Do you deceive yourself and thus encourage the damage of everything that is our lives? “It’s real, it’s real!” you cry. NO, IT ISN’T. Burn your willful ignorance. Find your own truth! Judge everything by right and wrong, not by politicians lest you are nothing more … Read the full article…

We Don’t Need What We’ve Got, We Need YOU!

Mike Hampton Posted on 6th Dec 2014 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

Not since before the cave man discovered fire has South Africa been so damn dark. In Knysna, on Friday, we had 2 load sheddings, the second unannounced. Minimum of 2 more years of this. It’s a synonym for so much else that is wrong. I want to take one of those cracked silos and put it up someone bad’s arse. We don’t need Zuma’s and Zille’s who have forgotten where they came from so as to trample us on the way to their selfish future. We especially don’t need neighbours … Read the full article…

If I Were the Devil in South Africa I’d….

Mike Hampton Posted on 28th Jul 2014 by mikehampton22nd Jan 2021

If I were the Devil in South Africa I’d whisper to Helen Zille and Jacob Zuma that they should never listen to the Public… but ironically yell loudly, “We are listening!” so that is all that they hear; I would convince the people that right and wrong are determined by a few who call themselves authorities and refer to their agenda as politically correct; I would convince people that character and community service are not considerations when choosing leaders and that all that matters is DA blue or ANC gold; … Read the full article…

Makes You Think, Doesn’t It?

Mike Hampton Posted on 7th Jun 2014 by mikehampton7th Jun 2014

Successful marketing requires your willful ignorance for success. Watch this amazing video – it will blow your mind! Hopefully your main thought afterwards (and tomorrow and next week) will be WTF! Read my article about how the very same thing controls your life. It’s happening to you, right now, in this town… because you let it. This fact, more than the crimes of others or any complaints you have, determines yours and your family’s now and future. And consider what you possibly go through to be accepted (especially women – … Read the full article…

Friends and Enemies in Knysna?

Mike Hampton Posted on 1st Jun 2014 by mikehampton22nd Jan 2021

Earlier today, in ‘Damn Knysna’s Politicians, Chuck Them in the Sea’, I said that I was going to rock the boat which would mean stepping on people’s sensibilities. I will never escape crooked fingers pointing at me and the invariable backlash from those who want to keep agendas hidden or refuse to question what is real. Most do not enjoy the uncomfortable and will do everything in their power to dodge awkward thoughts so as to live the same day, over and over, no matter if they enjoy it or … Read the full article…
