Thanks Just Jinjer, Andy and Cat!
It is our goal to show disadvantaged children a bigger world. The bigger their reality, the bigger their possibility. Showing them Knysna’s beauty helps make them proud of our town. The Just Jinjer concert in Brenton gave the Rasta kids and teens the opportunity to mix with culture whilst having fun. And the view from the The Lost Plot, the venue, is sure to stick with us all.
The younger ones had particularly good times on the trampolines and the foofie slide. Dinky Cakes’ cupcakes were enjoyed! And face-painting by Maz garnered them a massive greeting from the other kids of Judah Square when we returned them home. The downside was looking at the wishful faces of all the others.
Thanks again to Dee for her time. Always an immense help getting transport for the kids!
