This was emailed by Knysna Tourism members last night, Wednesday June 19 2013, less than 24hrs before the AGM:
Due to procedural requirements and in accordance with the principles of Responsible and Good Governance, the Knysna Tourism AGM, due to have taken place on Thursday 20 June 2013, has been postponed until further notice. Notice of the new date will be issued and publicized forthwith.

They have never displayed “principles of Responsible and Good Governance”. It’s more likely that they will see their best defence against legal action as a belated telling of some of the truth about what happened with the mismanagement of Knysna Tourism. Truth counts but will not make up for the part the DA, the Tourism Board and Knysna Municipality played in damaging our town…and for covering it up.
It will also be interesting to see how many Board members take flight in the near future. The whole Board needs to be disbanded and a new structure put in place.
