The Way Forward…
THE PAST
33 291 people were reached this past week on my Love Knysna Facebook! 118 new subscribers – the #1 community news page in Knysna, bigger than all our local newspapers, Knysna Tourism and Knysna Municipality combined, far bigger than the political propaganda pages that were erected to try take me, as the activist behind this page, down.
That success is part stubbornness and hard work. Importantly, that success is because you have shown interest in the beautiful and crazy happenings in our town!
THE WAY FORWARD
As stated previously, big changes are afoot here but the goal remains the same – MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I will only pop in occasionally. It’s possible i post an amazing photo etc. but the goal is to focus on features which can, sometimes, take weeks to investigate and write.
By aiming them at you and the greater South African public, topics fascinating enough to be of interest to all, we can draw mass attention to matters and people that deserve it.
These will include the Knysna murders for which Heinrich van Rooyen was controversially convicted for and several fraud cases which the police haven’t investigated.
In between, i have to get control of all the court cases our politicians have attacked me with. Conversely, it will take a lot of work to prepare my cases against them (i have more than enough evidence now). I intend them paying in their personal capacities too so that those who are booted this election do not escape punishment. I will keep you up to date on these too.
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED
I need your help. We can make a difference by attracting outside pressure that will keep major Knysna topics alive or put pressure on relevant authorities.
To maximise the effect of these feature articles, and gain, for example, over 100 000 readers for each of them, i will have to advertise them. Please support the stories YOU MOST BELIEVE IN with a donation towards those adverts. Every R10 or R50 helps!
I will also reintroduce polls so that you can show which side you fall on the issues presented.
Wish me well.
Wish our town good health.
Let’s make a better future for all of us!
Let’s move forward.
Mike Hampton
