Knysna, you have to take your taste buds to Wedaad’s Tasty Bites! I was very happy to finally find snacks that actually have an Indian flavour.

Wedaad’s Tasty Bites has opened a stall in between The Bedroom Shop and the old Knysna Liquors (SuperSpar parking lot at Knysna Mall).

Milk tart and quiche R5 each, samoosas R3.5 and mini-pies R4. Vegetarian and chicken options were on offer the day i was there. Have all 4 for lunch and it’ll cost only R17.50 for a taste sensation – that’s better than buying a pie.

I loved the samoosa so much i had to buy some for the staff at Wimpy where i was having a coffee meeting thereafter. I also kept my promise to Wedaad’s to return by trying out the quiche and milk tart the very next day – both delicious.

They were selling roti (R25) on Saturday but said it had sold out so they’re going to be making it more regularly. So now i have another reason to return 🙂

They are also happy to deliver to staff in The Mall so go and introduce yourself.
