I look at the white dude at the top of the Knysna ANC’s Facebook page and awkwardly laugh inside.

Besides the obvious voter/ANC member question, will the ANC be fielding any white candidates in Knysna for the 2016 Municipal Elections?

Furthermore, will the ANC please stop hiding their candidacy list. The DA’s list has already been a shocker. Is the ANC’s also a shocker? Is that why they’re hiding their representatives from us?

The end result is probably the same. In our constitutional democracy, the public doesn’t choose its leaders. Instead, we’re told who to vote for.
