Why’s Denel selling weapons to kill people we don’t know?
Why are we selling weapons that will kill people we don’t know?
DENEL, OUR WEAPON’S MANUFACTURING EMPLOYEE
Denel belongs to the Government of South Africa. The Government works for us. We own Denel. But Denel’s refusing to reveal whose paying R6.3-billion for its death devices?
Denel’s website description on search engines is: “Global Supplier of World-Class Defence Products and Solutions.” If it were for defence, there’d be no secrecy.
IMAGINE IF YOU WERE BEING BOMBED
Denel’s latest long-range artillery is accurate at 76km. Can you imagine living in Hout Bay whilst a foreign country called Paarl starts bombing you because it doesn’t like your religion or wants your water supply? I use that location, South Africa’s liberal homeland, because Denel’s testing range is in Overberg (did you know that the UK and USA use it too?).
It’s more practical to destroy bad things we’re familiar with. I’m betting that people would rejoice at a satellite photo of the fire pool at Nkandla getting blown up. With that ‘main fire prevention tool’ destroyed, there’d be no way to stop nearby burning thatch from reaching the other buildings.
